![]() Send me your screenies whenever you can play Torchlight 2 again ! I shall be your light in the darkness No problem, people should be more tolerant on Steam in general, instead of always jumping at each other's throats like it's becoming the trend now. I will follow up over the upcoming weekend. I used the word "labyrinthine" to describe the portal\lift\stairs system which can be confusing and not the acutal layout of any particular map. Although it has taken me years on and off with I am almost finished - and I think it is a fantastic game even though the travel system frustrates me. I am going out of town for a few days so I will investigate and follow up with more information if you are willing to help of which I would be grateful. As far as I could tell my quest log did not indicate I had killed him. I can't remember where it took me specifically, I did try to find my way back. I just know I was clicking, and the next thing I know I was teleported with not explanation whatsoever so I assumed it was just another case of a lost cursor and an accidental teleporter activation. He was low on health and I was clicking pretty vigorously just before I teleported. I do remember seeing the vague outline of a portal underneath the battle area wondering what that was throughout the fight. Maybe I killed the Netherlord and clicked the portal immediately after after killing him - which lends credence to my argument regarding a 2-step travel mechanic. You just have to go down, down and down, there is no labyrinth.įirst, thank you for being tolerant of my rant. In any case, you can use your map easily to figure out your way through. It's only when you kill him that there's a portal that leads you back to the Act 4 city - but you can just use the waypoint teleporter to get you close to the Netherlord (i can't remember the exact distance you have to travel). I mean there is a teleporter that brings you to the battle, but once you're in fighting him, there's no way out. ![]()
